I’m Melina — artist and interior designer behind Meraki Atelier, a studio based in Cologne that brings together contemporary art and bespoke interior design.

The word "meraki" comes from Greek and means to put one's heart, love, and passion into one's work. This is exactly what my work reflects. My pieces are more than unique decorations—they are an invitation to reconnect with oneself, find peace, and discover the joy of craftsmanship and individuality.

For me, art is more than a creative expression — it is a place of retreat, a source of healing, and a way to make individuality visible. In today’s fast-paced world, it has become essential to create atmospheres that ground us, inspire us, and reconnect people with themselves.

Over time, I realized that this emotional depth can be expressed not only through art and design objects, but also through interior spaces. My interior designs are based on aesthetic, one-of-a-kind concepts shaped by genuine personality — spaces that gain their own identity through carefully selected materials, unique pieces, colors, and forms.
